Vincent Enyeama Averts Super Eagles Return
Lille Goal-keeper Vincent Enyeama has said that he will not be returning to the Nigerian apex soccer team. Vincent Enyeama retired from International football after having a disagreement with the former Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh last year.
The disagreement Enyeama had with former coach Oliseh happened after Vincent Enyeama was permitted to take some extra time off because of his mother's death.
Unfortunately when he arrived at the Eagles camp after taking some time off, he found out that Oliseh had stripped him of his captaincy and handed it over to Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa.
Although there have been several reports and rumors that's acting coach of the Super Eagles Samson Siasia was planning to call Enyeama back to the team for the match against Egypt but the Lille Goalie made it crystal clear during an interview that he has made his mind up.
I don’t want to talk about this issue again. I think my earlier decision stands.he told Brila Fm.
