Lassa Fever Claims 3 Lives in Kaduna state

3 people were confirmed dead at the Saint Louis Specialist Hospital, Zonkwa, Zango Kataf local government area in Kaduna state. A doctor, a Nurse and a Pregnant Woman died of Lass fever late last month.

Professor Jonathan Andrew Nok who is the commissioner for health in Kaduna state told the press that the doctor and the nurse began to exhibit symptoms of Lassa fever shortly after operating on the pregnant Woman who was transfered from a hospital in Kafanchan.

However, Mr Nok did not disclosed their identities rather he urged residents of Kaduna state to maintain a clean environment and also called on the residents not to panic.
